YOUR PRACTITIONER

Hi, I'm Tempe Simmons, a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner. I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Chinese medicine in 2008 and have been practicing for 14 years.

My two main practice focuses are women's health and fertility. Over the years I seemed to attract mainly women, coming in to regulate their cycles, whether to relieve pain, get pregnant or support them through the IVF process. So I began to really focus on developing further skills in these areas, which has changed the way I treat.

When working with menstrual health and fertility I'm following your cycle and treating you where you're body's at. I will teach you how to read your body and maximise your menstrual cycle to make it work for you instead of you working against it.

I will diagnose you through a Chinese Medicine framework. However, over years of treating I have developed the way I practice to incorporate functional and integrative tools. This helps to get a well rounded view and clarity on what's going on in your body and how best to come at regulating your cycle. This will often include body basal temperature (BBT) charting as well as looking at blood tests and hormone tests to see if there are any imbalances.
